The Cortina 1600E has always had its fans, none more so than Richard Farrell who happens to be the lucky owner of this very late, August 1970 example finished in Ford Gulfstream Aqua. Although this iconic 1600E may look the part now, it wasn’t quite that way when Richard first got his hands on it some four years ago!

Back in the 1980s, the 1600E was regarded as a cheap runaround and Richard being a die-hard Ford fanatic took full advantage of those crazy times we can now only dream about.
