    Grow melons

    Growing melons is not tricky, they just need supports. Once planted, pinch out the growing tip after fve leaves and allow some lateral shoots to grow, but tie them away from each other. Feed and limit both fruits and laterals. Keep pinching out new leaves once the fruit is swelling.

     SOW a melon seed into a 7cm pot full of multi-purpose compost and water, then germinate in a heated propagator.
