Bright spark!

First up is me, Scoop with some spiel. I warn you now that what follows is well above my pay grade but I am learning… honestly!

When Ferret was working on the Apache my bike’s rotor broke his rotor puller so it never came off in the rewiring process. However, in shades of the best Blue Peter tradition I can honestly say: “Here’s one we took apart later.” You may recall I gained a spare, rough-looking motor with the original purchase and that is the one used here for illustrative purposes.

It took the combined might of two grown men, a lot of leverage and a puller that’s normally used in aviation circles to liberate the rotor for these shots. It’s not pretty inside but at least you can see what’s what, etc. I’ll now leave Ferret to the technical stuff. Over to you
