Mystery murder of a national treasure

On the morning of 26 April 1999, Crimewatch presenter Jill Dando, 37, was shot dead outside her home in Fulham, south west London. The gun had been pressed to her head when the trigger was pulled. Barry George, who lived locally and had a history of stalking women and anti-social behaviour, was convicted of murder and jailed for life.
