RESIDENT EVIL’S BEST MOMENTS

Resident Evil Village is almost upon us, but you could argue that the VIII in the name is slightly misleading. In the 25 years since the original game widened our eyes on PS1, we’ve seen remakes, side-stories, lightgun games, and more rain down like T-Virus-corrupted blood, filling every new generation of PlayStation console with devastatingly infectious fun. So just before we dive into the eighth numbered instalment on 7 May, let’s look back at 25 moments in the history of the quintessential survival horror series – some we’ll never forget (no matter how hard we try) and some we never knew.
