If you haven’t visited contemporary Italian restaurant Art’s new home at the National Gallery Singapore, do yourself a favour and book a table soon. Helmed by chef-restaurateur Beppe De Vito, the restaurant serves innovative Italian dishes such as the monograno felicetti spaghetti, which is made using water from the Dolomites mountains and organic wheat from Puglia. The menu offers a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine but it’s a welcome change for those who love classic dishes with a spin. Think beef carpaccio with tuna belly, drizzled in truffle vinaigrette. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list with over 500 old- and new-world bottles.
