In your February 2021 “Technologue,” you state the average tire properly inflated emits 5.8 grams of particles per kilometer. For the sake of using units more Americans are used to, this translates to 0.327 ounces per mile. Now let’s stretch this to the expected life if a given tire of 50,000 miles, and we have a total of 16,367.14 ounces, or 1,022.95 pounds of tire dust emitted from a single tire throughout the life of that tire.

I don’t know what your thoughts are on this, but I am quite sure
