Hands up if the only time you remember to squeeze your pelvic floor muscles is when someone mentions it? You’re not alone. Weakness in this area is common, particularly as we age. But if you don’t want to find yourself running to the toilet every 30 minutes, it’s time to make a change.
It’s important to keep your pelvic muscles strong and toned, just like any other muscle in your body. If left unchecked, a weak pelvic floor can lead to all sorts of problems, from urinary incontinence to pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Here, with help from Amy Hoover,
