► I loathe and detest Private Parking Companies (PPCs). Don’t get me wrong; I realise parking restrictions and enforcement are needed to prevent abuse. Shopping car parks need ‘turnover’ and customer-only restrictions, and it’s right and proper for paid parking to be protected from freeloaders.
