1954 MAN

I hope that you may find this photo useful. I took it through the fence with my telephoto lens. This is DSV 155, a 1954 MAN which was all on her own in the car park at the front of The British Commercial Vehicle Museum, Leyland, on 4th November 2020. The ongoing Covid-19 crisis means that many exhibits cannot be currently enjoyed by the public as for safety reasons the museum is again, sadly temporarily closed.

EXPRESS DAIRIES

Mr A Harbott has sent in these two photographs after reading about the Express Dairy in Heritage Commercials.

The Bedford was driven by Ted Bodman senior, out of Calindale Avenue NW9. This was before he moved to Ruislip, where he can be seen driving a BMC in the Lorry Driver of the Year competition. There are no dates on the photos, but still of interest to HC readers.
