Modern cameras

Hurrah for Roger Braga (Inbox, 14 November) and how right he is to be perturbed by modern cameras. I am 84 and down the years I have used large-format cameras (and still do), medium format and all the popular 35mm makes, but how bitterly I regret getting rid of the last of my Canon DSLR gear.

I now own an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, with a collection of PRO lenses. It’sby David Thorpe is great but 175 pages long, Darrell Young’s is even better but 610-odd pages long!
