In 2018, director Peter Jackson again opened, which restored, dubbed and colourised World War 1 archival footage to place viewers right in the trenches. Now he’s doing a similar thing for The Beatles. Compiled from 55 hours of unseen footage and 140 hours of mostly unheard audio recordings, sits in on the band’s recording sessions for their legendary studio album , and showcases the entirety of their final live gig as a group – the iconic 42-minute Savile Row rooftop performance.
