Lord Lipsey

David Lipsey is a Labour peer. A former special adviser to, and culminated in writing the Bagehot column in for which he was awarded a Special Orwell Prize in 1997. His involvement with the music world came first as chair of the All Party Parliamentary Committee on Classical Music and then as chair of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He is a trustee of the Mid Wales Music Trust.
