FFIONA LEWIS

Ffiona Lewis was born in Devon in 1964. She qualified as an architect before taking courses at Central Saint Martins and working in the props department at the National Theatre. Ffiona’s first major solo exhibition took place in 1993 and she has been selected for group shows including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition. Her new solo exhibition, Green Tapestry, features her largest and most ambitious paintings to date and runs until 29 January at The Redfern Gallery, London. www.redfern-gallery.com

FINDING NEW SPACE

has been four years in the making and it has coincided with us moving to a dilapidated farm in Suffolk. The land was very rundown, so we’ve been building that back up with planting and hedging, and then working with Suffolk Wildlife Trust to reinvigorate the landscape.
