Use fresh rather than frozen blueberries for this recipe, as they give the best colour and flavour.

For a different flavour combination, swap blueberries and basil with raspberries and mint.

BLUEBERRY BASIL ICE CREAM POPS

START TO FINISH 20 MINS (+ COOLING, CHILLING & FREEZING)

SERVES 12 (AS AN OCCASIONAL DESSERT)

250g blueberries (see Cook’s Tips, page 65)
60ml (¼ cup) water
1½ cups firmly
