All hands on deck

After a lifetime (I’m 73 now) around cars and things mechanical there’s a few tales I could tell – but I hope this one might be of amusing interest…

I’ve always worked on my own and family cars in my driveway. I have very nice and tolerant neighbours so in return I try to help them out when I can. About 30/35 years ago my next door neighbour asked if I could help out her son who’s car was not running right and he couldn’t afford garage rates.
