“No mom! No!”
“How dare you tell me no!” my mother is screaming, “After everything I’ve done for you!”
I sigh. “Are we going to go through this again? I DIDN'T ask you to do all this!” I throw my arms up and spin like a ridiculous ballerina.
“We did the entire house, look outside. There are people helping out of the goodness of their hearts and you are acting ungrateful!” my mother says through clenched teeth.
