Quick and easy Christmas treats

Honey hearts

Honey hearts, or honninghjerter, are a traditional Danish and Norwegian Christmas biscuit. They can be traced back to the Middle Ages, and are deliciously spicy. These biscuits can be given as gifts, served with tea, or even hung on the Christmas tree. God jul!

Makes 25

500g honey3 egg yolks500g cake flour2 tsp baking powder½ tsp baking soda2 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp ground cloves1 tsp ground mixed spice300g milk or80g white chocolate
