HOLLYWOOD actors are being cued to feature in a multimillion-dollar movie that will delve into the afflictions and accomplishments of one of the country’s golfing greats, Papwa Sewgolum.
When Barry Cohen, an author and seasoned leader with international experience in start-ups, welfare, and event organising, decided to pen Sewsunker “Papwa” Sewgolum’s story, which was released this month, he knew it would be a compelling story.
In the book, Cohen credits Sewgolum with, inadvertently, landing significant blows in the fight against apartheid through the exquisite swish of his golf clubs, which brought him multiple local and international honours.
