    Demand tends to outstrip supply when it comes to mental-health care and everyone has heard stories about people struggling to find the help they need. The answer, particularly for younger sufferers, may be to fill the gap with digital technology.

    Paediatrician Angela Lim certainly thinks so. While working at Auckland’s Starship Hospital, Lim became increasingly concerned about this country’s high youth-suicide rate and felt she could be doing more to help.
