Aint About Me: Aint About Me

This new project combines Spoken Word and ambient/electronica into a dense mixture. The recitations by Lukasz G. Polowczyk develop an intense effect thanks to concentrated poetry and skilful performance and are reminiscent of the hip-hop-like, sonorous singing of the early Massive Attack or Tricky as well as influences such as Gil Scott Heron, Laurie Anderson or Saul Williams. In addition, various musicians from the jazz and electronica genre, such as Jan Wagner, who is responsible for writing the music as well as producing and mixing, spin exciting ambient soundscapes that sometimes increase into beat-heavy electronica. Nothing to listen to on the side, but intense art to sink into. A stream of consciousness set to music. Available exclusively through Bandcamp.
