    ooking back on 2020, one thing is for sure: There remains much uncertainty thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallout. The unknowns are exactly what Collier County’s “Philanthropic Four” have been planning for since March. This group of three local foundations and an umbrella nonprofit—the Community Foundation of Collier County (CFCC), Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and United Way of Collier and the Keys—has been the community’s life raft since the onset of COVID-19. But this isn’t the first time they’ve banded together.
