n this modern era of fuel injected, high power two-wheeled speed machines, it’s rare you see anything smaller than a 600cc bike on UK trackdays. However we stumbled across a peach of an old-school classic, a Kawasaki ZXR400. The 400cc sector was hugely popular not too long ago, back before greetings were made with elbows and face coverings became normal shopping attire. This 1992 L2 model has seen its fair share of rubber-burning action, competing in the Manx Grand Prix and taking its owner, Adrian Kershaw, to victory in the newcomers’ race on the Isle of Man.
