What struck you about them when you first heard Kacy & Clayton’s music?
MW: I heard “Springtime of the Year” off their album Strange Country, and it’s got this melody that you hear and you think, I’ve known this melody my whole life, but you’ve never heard it before. In Kacy’s voice you’ve got eternal youth but complete timelessness. The music has that perfection combination of elements. I immediately reached out and said, “I’d love to make music with you guys.”
