CAPTAIN CAPSIZE

THIS is a column that I am not enjoying and it’s difficult to write. That said, I feel that I should share the event with you, hoping that the sharing will save others from a similar experience, or worse.

On daylight, Sunday 30th August, 2020, I came a cropper on my local river bar and lost my dog and my boat. Thankfully, my mate and I reached shore unscathed, but my much-loved Trailcraft and Suzuki 4-Stroke are write-offs, as is the trailer.
