NEW YEAR REVOLUTION
2020 will be remembered for the impact COVID-19 had on the world, with lockdowns, postponements, social distancing and bubbles now the norm. The bulk of the year saw supporters out of stadiums and focused on events more important than matchdays and transfer rumours. But, hope springs eternal, and 2021 can have better days in store.
FANS RETURNING TO STADIUMS
When the Coronavirus pandemic first impacted European football in March, nobody could foresee that stadia around the continent would be still sitting empty six months later. Sport needs fans and no sport more so than football. The passion, noise and fanfare that supporters bring to match days is sorely
