CHEAT’S POKE BOWL
SERVES 4 PREPARATION: 20 MIN
FISH
250g fresh trout, salmon or tuna, skinned, deboned and cubed
15ml (1T) teriyaki sauce
5ml (1t) soya sauce
15ml (1T) lime juice or rice vinegar
BOWLS
750ml (3c) cooked jasmine or sushi rice
1 cucumber, cubed
4 carrots, peeled and julienned
2 spring onions, sliced
100g gem lettuce
1 avocado, sliced
60ml (¼c) pickled ginger
fresh herbs
30ml (2T) toasted sesame seeds
1 Fish Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
2 Bowls Spoon a heap of the rice in the middle of each bowl.
