NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE

A MAN has been feeling terrible, so he goes to the doctor and describes his symptoms. Over the next few weeks, the doctor runs many tests in order to come up with a diagnosis.

Finally the man is summoned to see the doctor again. “I’m afraid I have terrible news,” the doctor gravely informs him. “Unfortunately, it seems you have a terminal illness.”

Bewildered and terrified, the man manages to stammer: “S-so how long do I have, Doc?”

“Ten” the doctor replies succinctly.

“Ten what, doctor?” the man cries. “Days, months, years?”
