Carla Bruni’s music studio in the heart of Paris is a cheerful reminder of a remarkable life – and a career that began more than three decades ago.

Covering every square inch of its walls are hundreds of photographs of her as a supermodel. Two guitars hang from the wall behind her, testament to her new life as a successful songwriter and singer.
