‘What we have is a wonderful and moving snapshot of the experiences of so many people throughout the country’
Her Hold Still photography project brought the nation together in documenting the UK’s experience of lockdown: more than 31,000 people accepted the Duchess of Cambridge’s challenge to capture a moment in history on camera.
Last week the evocative portraits went on display in 80 towns and cities across the UK, appearing on billboards, bus stops, train stations and shop fronts to be enjoyed by millions more.
