M CAREY COLLECTION

The big sale on Saturday 26 September was M Carey’s David Brown collection, organised by FMC Auctions Ltd. of Ballymoney, Co. Antrim. The stock offered was mostly restored and high reserves were put on the stock, but most sold very well.

Some of the details on the lots were incorrect, but that did not put off the bidders, with a 1966 DB 770 12-speed selling for a record £8,400. A second red DB 770 12-speed, again restored, went on to sell for £8,100.
