Study shows Vikings had diverse roots
ew research suggests that the Vikings were surprisingly genetically diverse. The six-year project, carried out by teams from the universities of Copenhagen and Cambridge, sequenced DNA material taken from the skeletons of more than 400 people found in Viking cemeteries in Europe and Greenland.
