At some point in our lives, we’ve all been passenger in a car that makes our hair stand on end and our butt cheeks clench a groove into the seat fabric. Relentless acceleration, scalpel-sharp cornering and eyeball-popping brakes can turn even the bravest of us into gibbering wrecks.

But when it comes to Mustangs, the recipe for scaring passengers is much, much simpler. “A live rear axle plus tons of grunt ends up in a car that wants to kill you,” laughs Brian Dallison, owner of this particular monster.

Brian has always been a Ford man. His first car in 1992 was a Series Two Escort RS Turbo, which was stolen and never to be seen again.
