BEAUTY GOES POP
Do not be fooled by singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, with her pastel pink hair, fluttery lashes and bright pout. It wasn’t always that way, says the 29-year-old pop star, who has collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit and David Guetta.
“I was such a tomboy when I was younger,” she tells us. “I would say to my dad: Do you wish you had a son?’ But I soon realised I pretty much was that.”
It was Anne-Marie’s sister Samantha who introduced her to make-up. “She taught me everything I know and the day I let her do my make-up I fell in love with everything about it,” Anne-Marie says.
