Major project
My dad worked for International Harvester at Doncaster for more than 30 years and, as such, I’ve always had a love for tractors. He used to take me to shows and steam fairs when I was young and this is the approach I adopted when I had my son.
His love for machinery grew, just as mine had, and our first project was a rusty old Lister D stationary engine. Not content with this, we set our sights higher and ended up buying a 1955 Fordson Major on 14 August 2014.
