CHEESEBOARDS

STYLE 1 BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

Decide on the size of board you want to make and cut out a sheet of paper slightly larger than required. Fold the sheet in half.

Carefully cut out the shape with a sharp knife, then open out the sheet to reveal your template. If you don’t like it, fold the sheet in half again and adjust the shape until you’re happy with it.

Draw the outline shape on one half of the sheet only. The shape can be of your own choosing; you don’t have to make it the same as the one shown

Make more templates as required, working in the same way.

YOU WILL NEED:

White firing clay – earthenware or stoneware

Rolling pin, 5mm roller guides, plastic sheet, rib

■ – they don’t have to be your prize
