‘I’ll take my opportunity’

In the days when Highlands Park striker Peter Shalulile was playing for Tura Magic in Namibia, he was warned about the need to cut down on training outside the club.

The striker used to go as far as putting in three sessions per day, unaware that he was overloading his body and exposing himself to injuries.

“The only challenge that you will have with Peter is that he loves training and it is a problem keeping him away from the pitch,” reveals Ricardo Mannetti – who coached Shalulile in the Namibia junior and senior national teams over the last decade.
