KICK OFF: As Lehlohonolo Majoro, please tell our readers what mental space are you in right now?
Lehlohonolo Majoro: I’m in a positive state of mind. A happy place. I say this because I believe that as a person, regardless of whether you are a footballer or ordinary worker, you need to be happy with the environment where you are. I have made peace and set myself down to understand that this is where I am, and this is where I deserve to be, so I must make use of the time.
What defines your happiness?
[Laughing] When my kids are happy then I am sorted. When you are young you never understand but when you grow you get to see life differently and get to give yourself more time to think before you act. Coming back to Durban has provided me with that opportunity because I have fewer people that I know so I spend most of the time alone. It gives me time, which is exactly what I needed in life. I believe that I am now at that point where I always have my ‘why’.
