Concern at more leniency on recreational drug use

THE FEI is reluctantly adopting a more lenient approach to riders’ recreational drug use, in line with changes in the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) stance.

From January, suspension for social drugs will be reduced from four years to between one and three months if use is proved “out of competition” and not intended
