Testing Time for Actors

Amid the drug controversy in the Sushant Singh Rajput, Madhya Pradesh’s medical education minister, has proposed a novel idea to curb drug usage in Bollywood. Sarang dashed off a letter to Prakash Javadekar, the Union I&B minister, demanding that an agency like NADA/ WADA (National/ World Anti-Doping Agency) conduct random dope tests on actors. Such testing, he said, has reduced the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sports. He also demanded jail and a lifetime acting ban for the guilty.
