This trusty appliance and a handful of ingredients are all you need to make the cosiest of treats.

makes 2 | prep 5 mins (+ cooling) | cooking 15 mins

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, just thawed
225g (1 cup) cooked apple (see tip)
20g butter, melted
Cinnamon sugar, to sprinkle
Thick vanilla custard, to serve

1 Preheat a jaffle maker. Cut the pastry into 4 triangles. Spread cooked apple onto 2 of the pastry triangles, leaving a 1.5cm border. Top with the remaining pastry triangles.

2 Place the apple pies in the jaffle maker and close the lid. Cook for 15 minutes or until
