TER Progress – Pearl - Amberley Chalk Pits

Hello Peter,

Thank you for your e-mail, updates and pictures. I can appreciate the reasons for your decisions to scale down on the ‘heavy stuff ’ as I too have had back problems over forty years bought on by activities with old tackle! Getting caught taking the weight of the roller's differential when it slipped a bit too easily off the back axle is one instance that comes to mind. I have to say that I have found the best relief by using supportive chairs and using cars with supportive seats - and not staying still too long at the desk. Well, it looks like Marshall No. 61880 has a good home.
