WE LOST OUR integrity

In its simplest form, integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Integrity, therefore, assumes that those who believe in it subscribe to a set of moral principles that must guide their behaviour and actions. The obvious immediate question must be, whose moral principles? This question is important when integrity issues relate to public affairs and, in particular, matters of state. Our electoral system forces us to delegate our power to a political party leadership that determines who become our public representatives. The electorate is therefore reliant on political parties to determine who is honest.
