Mountain biking is thriving here in the UK, with riders descending on trail centres in their thousands, bike parks springing up along the length and breadth of the country, and new lines being dug in seemingly every disused patch of woodland. Go to any popular riding destination and the accents you’ll hear will be as varied as the bikes you’ll see. To celebrate this diversity, we thought we’d visit BikePark Wales to take a snapshot of the riders there. This is an ode to the regular mountain biker – the sort of characters you’ll see out on any given Sunday at a riding spot near you.
