Help! When you need to add spacer pieces to a band, how do you decide what width they should be?

If the spacers areshows spacers that are the same width as the narrow segment in the block. If the band has to be a specific length, then subtract the length of the band by the final length needed. This will show you how much extra needs to be added - see . It’s often easier to have a spacer at each end that is a bit wider (or narrower), to avoid messing around with the maths for all of the spacers in the band ().
