You will need

■ Light floral print – 1¼yds

■ Light print fabric – 2¼yds

■ Solid red fabric – 2½yds

■ Selection of red print fabrics for appliqué – 1½yds in total

■ Backing – 76in square

■ Batting – 76in square

■ Binding fabric – ½yd

■ ¼in Bias tape maker (optional)

■ Freezer paper (optional)

■ Appliqué pattern – see Templates section

Cutting out

1 From the light floral print fabric, cut as follows:

■ Eight (8) 8⅞in squares cut diagonally once to get sixteen (16) triangles.

■ Twenty-four (24)
