Retro Flowers

This little retro nosegay of flowers is a design I love. I used it for a full-size quilt in my first Scrap Quilt book, and it still makes me smile when I see it. It also has to be a winner for me as it uses another of my favourite techniques: blanket-stitch appliqué. I love to stitch this by hand, but I’ve also used an excellent blanket-stitch on my sewing machine and the more I do, the better I get at
