WALKING FOOT ANATOMY

The walking foot, (also known as the dual feed foot or even feed foot) is a presser foot that attaches to your sewing machine and can help the machine to cope with bulky seams and multiple fabric layers. Although they are well known for helping to sew with thicker fabrics, the walking foot can also help to sew fabrics that slip easily, such as silk, chiffon, and velvet. Let us walk you through the process and get to grips (puns intended!) with this presser foot. You’ll soon be wondering how you ever managed without one!
