Spirit of Scunthorpe

Formed back in 1987, Scunthorpe Silhouettes has seen members come and go and Phil Smith is among the more recent additions to its numbers. "Like most kids growing up in Scunthorpe I was aware of the town's active scooter scene," he began. "I loved everything about them, had mates that rode them and spent a fantastic weekend watching the racing at Donington Park. Somehow I never got around to owning one."
