Allan Clayton Tenor

Leading British tenor Allan Clayton is known for fearless performances in operas such as George Benjamin’s Written onand the iconic role of Hamlet in Brett Dean’s opera for Glyndebourne. This spring should have seen him appear in a Britten series at Wigmore Hall, a residency at the Aldeburgh Festival and as Laca in the Royal Opera’s . All have been cancelled, but his recording of Ian Venables’s song cycle is out on Signum Records.
